Webster began his acting career in the early 1980s, appearing in various television commercials and movies. He had a small role in the 1984 film “Iceman”, and also appeared in the TV series “MacGyver” and “Street Legal”. In the late 1980s, he landed the role of Cole Gioberti on the soap opera “Falcon Crest”. He played the role for four years, until the show was cancelled in 1990.

In the early 1990s, Webster appeared in the films “Naked Lunch” and “The Nutty Professor”. He also had a recurring role on the TV series “Beverly Hills, 90210”.
