Raffaella Carrà (born 18 June 1943) is an Italian television presenter, singer, dancer, and actress. She is a household name in Italy and is known for her roles on the RAI variety show Carramba! Che fortuna and the game show La ruota della fortuna.

Carrà was born in Bologna, Italy, to a father who was a doctor and a mother who was a housewife. She has two sisters. Carrà began her career as a dancer, training at the Teatro Regio in her hometown. She made her television debut in 1964 on the RAI variety show Carramba! Che fortuna. The following year, she appeared on the game show La ruota della fortuna.

Carrà’s career took off in the 1970s with her roles on the RAI variety show Fantastico and the game show Lascia o raddoppia?. She also appeared in the films La ragazza con la pistola (1968) and C’eravamo tanto amati (1974).

In the 1980s, Carrà hosted her own variety show, Raffaella, which was a huge success. She also appeared in the films La bella vita (1986) and Una donna per amico (1989).

In the 1990s, Carrà hosted the RAI variety show Domenica in and the game show Chi vuol essere milionario?. She also appeared in the films La voce del cuore (1995) and Io non ho paura (2003).
