Phil Rudd is an Australian drummer, best known for his work with the rock band AC/DC. He was born in Melbourne, Australia, on May 19, 1954. His parents were both musicians, and his father was a professional drummer. Rudd began playing drums at an early age, and by the time he was a teenager, he was already playing in local bands. He left school at the age of 15 to pursue a career in music, and he soon joined AC/DC. Rudd became a member of the band in 1975, and he has been with them ever since. He has appeared on all of AC/DC’s studio albums, and he has co-written some of their most popular songs, including “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You),” “Hells Bells,” and “Back in Black.” Rudd has also released two solo albums, Head Job (2014) and Heavy Duty (2016). He is currently worth an estimated $30 million.
