Martin Brundle is a former racing driver from England. He competed in Formula One from 1984 to 1996, driving for teams such as Tyrrell, Benetton and McLaren. He also raced in the World Sportscar Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. After his retirement from racing, Brundle became a commentator and analyst for Sky Sports’ coverage of Formula One.

Brundle was born on June 1, 1959, in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, England. His father was a mechanic and his mother was a housewife. He has two sisters. Brundle was educated at Wisbech Grammar School and later studied aeronautical engineering at Kingston Technical College.

Brundle began his racing career in 1976, competing in the British Formula Three Championship. He won the championship in 1980. He made his Formula One debut with the Tyrrell team in 1984. He scored his first podium finish at the 1985 British Grand Prix. He moved to the Benetton team in 1986 and won his first race at the 1987 Mexican Grand Prix. He remained with Benetton until the end of the 1996 season. He then retired from racing.

Brundle’s career highlights include winning the World Sportscar Championship in 1992 and finishing second at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1990. He also won the British Grand Prix in 1985 and 1994.

Brundle has an estimated net worth of $30 million. He is married to Liz Hobbs and they have two children together.
