Liz Fraser was born on July 30, 1930, in London, England. Her parents were both actors, and her early education was at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She began her career as a stage actress, but soon moved into film and television. She appeared in a number of British films in the 1950s, including “The Lavender Hill Mob” (1951) and “The Man in the White Suit” (1951). She also had a recurring role in the television series “The Avengers” (1961-1969).
In the 1960s, she appeared in a number of American films, including “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir” (1968) and “The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes” (1970). She retired from acting in the early 1970s. Fraser was married three times, first to actor Anthony Newley, then to businessman Peter Sellers, and finally to actor James Booth.
She had three children, one with each husband. Fraser died on December 27, 2014, at the age of 84.

Talking about fellow 'Carry On...' actor Sidney James: He would always call me Lizzle - that was his nickname for me - we'd always have a cuddle. He never once tried anything obscene or nasty or intrusive. There was a play that was at the National several years ago where they made him out to be an absolute horrible lech. And I was very upset and so was his wife.
