Kira Isabella is a Canadian country music singer-songwriter. She was born in Ottawa, Ontario, on May 27, 1995, to parents Randy and Tracey Isabella. She has two older sisters, Ashley and Lauren. Kira began singing and playing guitar at a young age and was influenced by her father, who is a country music fan. She attended Earl of March Secondary School in Kanata, where she was a member of the school’s choir and drama club. After graduation, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a career in country music.
Kira released her debut album, Love Me Like That, in 2013. The album peaked at number five on the Canadian Country Albums chart and spawned the hit single “A Little More Work.” In 2014, she released her second album, Caffeine & Big Dreams, which debuted at number one on the Canadian Country Albums chart. The album’s lead single, “Quarterback,” was a top 10 hit on the Canadian Country Singles chart. Kira has been nominated for several awards, including the Juno Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year and the Canadian Country Music Association Award for Female Artist of the Year.
