Isaac Mizrahi is an American fashion designer, actor, and TV presenter. He was born on October 14, 1961, in New York City, to a Jewish family. His father, Saul, was a painter, and his mother, Sarah, was a homemaker. Mizrahi has two sisters, Rebecca and Rachel. He was educated at the High School of Performing Arts and the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Mizrahi began his career as a window dresser for Henri Bendel. He later worked for Perry Ellis and Calvin Klein before launching his own label in 1987. His designs have been worn by celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Obama, and Oprah Winfrey. Mizrahi has also appeared on several TV shows, including “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and “Project Runway.” He has a net worth of $18 million.
Mizrahi is divorced from his first wife, Liz Claiborne. He has two children from his second marriage, to designer Arnold Scaasi.
