Dusty Hill was born on May 19, 1949, in Dallas, Texas. His father, Marvin, was a country and western singer, and his mother, Shirley, was a homemaker. He has two older sisters, Marsha and Jan. He was educated at Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas, and then studied business administration at the University of Texas at Austin.

Hill began his musical career in the early 1970s, playing bass guitar with the band ZZ Top. The band achieved success with their album “Eliminator”, which was released in 1983. They have since released a number of successful albums, including “Recycler” and “Antenna”.

Hill has also appeared as a guest on a number of television shows, including “Saturday Night Live” and “The Tonight Show”. He has also appeared in a number of films, including “Back to the Future III” and “The Lone Ranger”.

Hill has been married twice. His first wife was Cathy Lavine, with whom he has two daughters, Alexandra and Olivia. His second wife is Connie Hamzy, with whom he has one son, Dylan.
