Carlos Durán is a Costa Rican footballer who plays as a winger for Alajuelense in the Costa Rican Primera División.

Durán was born in San José, Costa Rica on 5 February 1992. He began his career with Alajuelense, making his professional debut in 2010. He has since made over 200 appearances for the club, winning three Costa Rican Primera División titles and the CONCACAF Champions League in 2014.

Durán has represented Costa Rica at senior international level, making his debut in 2012. He has earned over 30 caps and was a member of the Costa Rican squads that reached the quarter-finals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

As of May 2020, Durán has a net worth of $1 million. He earns a salary of $40,000 per year from his club, Alajuelense. He has also earned significant earnings from his international appearances for Costa Rica.

Durán is in a relationship with his partner, María Fernanda Herrera. The couple has two children together.
